What do you think boys & girls....I'm a long time Chelsea supporter but I really can't see them beating barca
-
Neither can I, LMAO
It will be a beatiful game to watch the demise of Chelski, but I loved the way you demolised our North London Enemy. TottyHam :happy2:
Arsenal Forever is I! :happy2:

No chance, not with Chelsea's leaky defence. Although luiz isn't playing :signLOL:
-
The way Chelski have played most of the season, I would say no chance, the form they showed in last couple of games they might have a slim chance, keep messi quiet and you have a chance, let him roam and dictate and it will be over after 1st game.
-
Personally I think the winner of the trophy will come from either Bayern or Real :popcornsoda:

As a season ticket holder with tickets for tonight I can’t say that I’m overly optimistic.(have that sick feeling in the pit of my stomach) But then again that’s how I felt last Sunday and look how that turned out.
Dear mvb12 Arsenal 1 Wigan 2.Need I say anymore to prove anything can happen.
-
Am a Lily White through and through so after the "incident" the other day I should be wishing you ill but as I'm English so in a sign of friendship (and as my wife says its only a game :stupid:) I hope you stuff those greasy spaniards!
:drinking:
-
Cheers MC71.God how I wish it was possible to see the game through your wife’s eyes, not so easy when my wife is also a season ticket holder (been going much longer than me).
I would miss the high’s but might live a lot longer.

You lucky sod!! I love my wife dearly BUT when after an hour of a match she asks "so which colour are we" or "your team's crap, why don't you change to a team that wins" it's not easy. Good luck tonight, 0 - 0 is were my money is (no away goal).

chelsea have a chance maybe if can keep tight and crunch messi out of the game with a late challenge
think it more likely that chelsea will beat us in the fa cup, alkthough think we haave a chance in that as have beaten United, Stoke and Everton to get to final
-
Is Terry playing, I hope so, I wanna see Messi tie him in knots
-
Game on!
And Messi is human after all!
-
Wow now drogba has finally stopped rolling around on the floor ,he goes and scores
-
Barca don't look at it at all, messi is having a mare for his standards!
I wish drogba would man-up a bit, jeez it's embarrassing.
-
He's always been a Squat To Pee!! :signLOL:
-
Credit where credits due :congrats: :congrats:
It was attack v defence but what an effort from Chelsea. Last ditch tackles and blocks on the edge of the area, fantastic.
If they defend like that in camp nou they've got a chance.
Oh and drogba's a Tw*T
-
I just hope this win it harmful to their Premier League push.
Really enjoyable game though. I predict annihilation at the Nou Camp though!
-
Somehow they did it, good result (only half time though) :congrats:
-
Was a expecting a little bit more from messi
-
the boys done well :congrats:
-
barca was well unlucky
-
Barca had problem scoring got to say Chelsea were lucky
-
Chelsea did well, you cant take anything away from their performance, they set out to keep messi quiet and did a fairly good job of it and they defended well, Barca were unlucky not to score (hitting woodwork twice), if chelsea can defend as well as that at Camp Nou they have a chance, if they can score on the break at camp nou and defend well and NOT concede more than 2 they go scrape through on away goals.
Would like to see an english team win the final and beat the spaniards/germans (Oh and im a lifelong Man United Fan too, even tho when I was at school all my mates supported Scousers as they won all the time!, no glory seeking here!)
-
The chelsea pitch is tiny and parking the bus kind of worked but Barca should have scored really. The camp nou pitch on the other hand is massive and parking the bus simply wont work, they found gaps at the bridge, they will find gaps on their pitch for sure.
The game on the whole was pretty disappointing and dull to watch but then again it did involve chelsea so theres no real surprise there.
Im hoping for a win for pure football in the retun leg rather than borin boring chelsea and Drogba's inexcusable antics on the pitch.

Amazing.
-
excellent result
-
Absolutely incredible. At 2 0 I would have bet my house and car on barca going through. They got through with a bit of luck (ok maybe more than a bit) but now Chelsea have a great chance to do the impossible.
It's so ironic that Chelsea have been a shambles this season yet this represents their best chance of winning the big one!
Mad just mad!
-
Chelski done London and the UK proud. :happy2:
-
As much I enjoyed that game the result has been tainted by the worry that if we (Newcastle) finish 4th, and Chelsea win we'll still not get into the Champion League next season...

They won't take that away from Newcastle will they? Can they? If they do then that's disgusting.
-
Yep, if Chelsea were to win the final but finish outside the top four, whoever finishes fourth, be it Spurs, Newcastle or Arsenal, wouldn't get to play in the competition. Only four teams from any one country can go through...
-
That is crazy :stupid:
What happened the other year when Liverpool won it snd finished outside the top four? A one off?
-
As a Spurs fan I hpoe we can finish forth and I'm sorry Chelsea but it looks like I will be supporting Real/Bayern. Would have supported Chelsea for the final till I heard about that stupid rule.
:happy2:

There's always Uefa league, its a step in right direction!.
As for John Terry, the THUG strikes again :fighting: seriously with about 10 cameras and 5 officials how does he think he can get away with something so stupid?
He probably got megged 5 mins before from the same player! :booty:
-
What was he thinking. Guess well never know.

Those are the rules and have been for a while, it will be shame for newcastle

Probably "oooh grass", he is a pro footballer, not known for brains are they :signLOL:

Did 5 teams play the year the scousers won it?, I thought it was only 4?
-
I'm sure that the following season (after liverpool won it) they said the winners should be in the tournament to defend the title. Consequently 5 English teams entered. Im willing to be proved wrong however!

In that case I hope its a great game and Chelski lose on penalties (Again ), Newcastle for CL and Chelski for UEFA :drinking:
T.B.H I dont care who wins it :signLOL:

What's pretty clear is that there is no hard and fast rule, but they'd certainly make it easier for everyone by basing the qualification criteria on league position alone.
