Title: Goodwood Breakfast Club 7th June - Supercar Sunday

Been going to the Breakfast Club for a few years now. For the true car enthusiast this one cannot be missed.

The theme this month (June) is Supercar Sunday attracting: Mouth-watering (and mostly mid-engined!) ultimate performance cars and exotic superbikes, plus aerobatic aircraft.

What more can I say. Nowhere else will you see such a fantastic collection of awesome cars.

For some of you the journey may be a bit too much but last year one of my mates came from Bradford just for this. I shall dig some pics out from last year to whet your whistle.

Where is this held?

Got that Sunday off work but going to Oasis and that wins hands down for me as much as I like my cars aswel.

I have a dilema, ive been given the chance to drive Both the New Scirrocco TDi and also a white Mk6 GTi for a couple of hours each on sunday morning.Or do i go to the breakfast club instead?? :ashamed:

Hmmmm that is a great opportunity! Can it be re-arranged, or only available to you this Sunday?


On a separate note......the weather forecast isn't looking too great  :sad1: :sad1: :sad1: It will certainly deter those with the more extravagant and rare supercars from coming.  :sad:

These cars Chris have been offered for Friday, saturday, and sunday only as a dealer promo.tommorow im working, saturday im at SC. so only leaves sunday, So will miss out. Will be keeping an eye on the forecast, as you say its looking changable over the weekend.

Chance of a shower or two on saturday :sad: :sad:

I'm gutted!! All the weather forecasts said rain, got woken up at 5AM by mega loud thunderstorms which really confirmed for me not to go, then I wake up again at 9:30 to find clear skies and the roads dry!!

Me next to my all time favourite car at the old Alfa factory museum in Arese Italy.. 1967 Alfa Romeo 1750 GTAm (circa 210HP from its 1750cc), circa 750 Kilos (it's made from aluminium and magnesium) and rearwheel drive - they were unstoppable in competition.

On the other side of the coin, a great friend of mine is Bavarian and her father was a racing mechanic and Mr Hitler ordered him to be one of his chauffeurs. Unfortunately but very understandably, her family destroyed the pics shortly after 1945!
