Title: 16s on a GTI?
Post by: Duke on June 04, 2012, 12:37:07 pm
Hi,

I'm looking to get a set of 16s to run on track with some semi slicks (AD08s or similar), I'm pretty sure 16s will fit on the GTI but wanted to make sure the clearance with the calipers was ok?

Also what is the offset I need to have? I'll probably just get some Jetta or Polo 16s which should fit fine?

Any other useful info would be great.

Thanks

Cheers. Do you track with them or are they for winter tyres?

They're the original factory wheels I got the car with. It's a diseasel so no track days for this car, they're only used for winter tyres. :happy2:
