As title suggests.
I have been speaking to Nigel @ BCS ref an exhaust and having contacts a plenty and localness to ITG has stood me in good stead.
However after that.. I'm happy. But still those mods alone will cost me a pretty penny and yes you get a better g'tee than any standard items and they will stand the test of time much better than standard parts.. But for me to exploit them will i have to get the car mapped to get any real gains from them.
I'm not set against getting her mapped but i don't need the 300hp (is that optimistic) for a daily drive - 14 miles round trip i honestly wouldn't use it.
Is there a way of taking advantage - i.e reset the adaptive learning in the PCM/EMS without giving it any additional ponies?

Speak to your tuner of choice, if they ate really making the maps in-house rather than using ready made generic files then you can ask them to tune it on the dyno to your requirements.
We often tune cars for drivability rather than peak power under full throttle, after all, how often are you really at full throttle when driving on the road?

Better to have a nice torque curve for overtaking rather than high BHP figures at high rpm for willy waving :happy2:
