The last few months the car has struggled at times to maintain enough satellites to understand where i am. I dont use the car constantly as its more of a weekend car and has never been a problem in the past. I took a look at how many satellites were being found and it was between 4/5. It kept thinking i was in a field etc, then when it did find where i was, it ended up being about 10 metres or so behind my exact location.
Any ideas what could be causing the issue? Could my GPS antenna of moved, though im sure there magnetic. I did do a search and found some people have moved theres higher up nearer the top of the air vents or even beind the steering wheel, speedo cluster? I think mine is postioned in the little gap just above the RNS unit.
Has anyones GPS antenna started to cause problems and has a new one sorted the issue?
Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated :happy2:

if the GPS antenna is under the mesh grill it can affect the number of satellites that it picks up or the GPS antenna cable could be kinked. try moving it, if it still cant find enough satellite you should try a new one.
Pop round and I will have a look for you
