Title: Random misfire on acceleration

Need some help with my gti, as I accelerate from 2000 revs and above there seems to be random misfires and sometimes epc light, what does this sound like?

When was the last time they spark plugs were changed? IS your car remapped?

Yeah it's stage 2 mate, plugs where changed about 7 months ago

Thats where I would start.

The consensus is that colder plugs are the future when running stage 2 and beyond.

If that doesnt fix it then it might be a case that a coilpack it on its way out.

Thanks for the link, have you tried these plugs yourself? I will try plugs first

No i have not. But i did swap plugs for a misfire issue and it fixed itself immediately.
