Title: GTI silicone hoses
Post by: J13YME on July 05, 2012, 10:21:05 pm
Hi everyone

I was wondering if there was a company who sell a full set of silicone hoses in different colours to fit the standard GTI as I was thinking about tarting up the engine bay

Many thanks :happy2: :happy2:

Check out some websites and use the "search" button on here! Never seen white, not sure how long they would remain in said colour though.

scopes car looks really good mate also what did you do with your standard hoses when you replaced them with forge hoses?

Group buy could defiantly be on just need to hold of some hoses to make the tooling  :happy2: :happy2: :happy2:

was thinking of taking mine off but when your going to rely on mates the car could be off the road for awhile

cheers

Try Roose Motorsport in lincoln.

http://roosemotorsport.co.uk/

I could ask my friend to have a chat with Roose about a group buy deal. :happy2:
My friend rents a unit off Roose for peanuts and he is very good friends with the boss man.

Carlo.

That would be ace.  They don't seem to list the Gti engine though :(

The OP could offer his oem ones to be copied....

I may be able to help aswell on this.

I deal with a manufacturer up the road who may offer good discounts if the numbers are good.

My only concern would be that I'd want to use a known brand.  I.e a brand known for reliability of product.  Or worst case known for after care if the part goes wrong.

Reason being for something solely aesthetic, if it perishes/ fails then it causes problems not to mention labour repairing

I understand your point completely. Have used them on a few track cars aswell as show cars with no known issues.

Viper hoses are used on a 1200hp car right now which I know of  :driver:
