Title: Servicing after first year ownership
Post by: crashdesk on July 18, 2012, 01:58:18 pm
Hi,

I have had my GTI for a year now and going to get it serviced. there are 43,000 on the clock. Not bad for a 2007. Wondering if there is any advice on what would need done.

Had a scan at log book. Brake fluid was last changed in 2009 and at 30,000 the timing belt was changed.

Thanks for any advice.

C

Also while I am at the dealership what oil should I buy for a top up?

Brake fluid should be every 2 years mate so budget for that.Think the rest will be just oil-filter & check/adjust if belts etc were done last time.

Cheers for that. Don't want the guys at VW chancing their arm with a lot of stuff that doesn't need done.
