Title: Iron X?
Post by: suave on July 25, 2012, 10:28:15 pm
Folks

Can I use iron x on wheels that have been professionally refurbed?

I know it can damage new paint.

Cheers

Shouldn't need to if they've been recently refurbed!

You should be fine as long as you don't leave it on too long or let it dry.

Depends if your brakes sh*t a brick everytime you touch the pedal (like mine)  :signLOL:

just had all 4 wheels on mine refurbed and couple of weeks brake dust just washed off effortlessly with water. Still shampoo'd them though.

Once Iron X'd make sure they have a few costs of good wheel wax applied and they should be a doddle to clean in the future.

Smartwax Rim Wax works well for me and smells great! :)
