Title: Brake Pad Manufacturers

Hi guys,

My Mk5 GTI is in need of a service and front and rear pads. I got a quote from the local dealer for €140 for the pads (f&b). I have looked on two websites and they have sets along the lines of Mintex, ABS, Bosch, Ferodo, Quintan Hazell, Textar, Ate and Delphi.

Would you recommend any of these over factory VW models? They seem to come in quite a bit cheaper!

Bosch and ATE are both good OE spec pads.
