i got a few track days lined up, but not sure how loud my car is :ashamed
I really dont want to drive to the track to get checked. (100mile round trip)
How loud do you think it would be?
decat and Milltek system non res. more than 105db?

I used a couple of the free decibel meters on my iPhone as i too didnt want to waste a journey or money.
I coincidently got chatting to a sound engineer at the track day who said a lot of the iPhone ones he finds really accurate.
Only other thing I could suggest is find your nearest track and see if they'll test you for a pack of biscuits lol

You could buy a cheap sound meter. http://www.maplin.co.uk/mini-sound-level-meter-226470 (http://www.maplin.co.uk/mini-sound-level-meter-226470)

And remember to measure at 1.5m and 45 degree's from the exhaust, as that's what they do at the track.

The events I've been to that state they will test at the above 1.5m and 45 degrees when static haven't done so and have just got the meter out at trackside if they think any cars might be a bit loud.
They have probably got a good idea of the sound levels after doing so many events.
Always safe to do a check yourself before hand to put your mind at rest

105db is loud for trackdays now anyway. :)

Think the limit was 95 or 98 at Wittering. No body got turned away.
105 is pretty safe like you say
