Title: Farewell! Sort of!
Post by: sub39h on August 31, 2012, 01:23:22 pm
I'm due to move to London tomorrow to start a university course. The car isn't sold, but it will live with my parents in the north as cars and London are generally a recipe for disaster! (That, and I can't afford a parking space!) I doubt I'll have much spare cash left for modding, but who knows, I might find a way .

Anyway, I doubt I'll be around as frequently as I was. I know some of you guys will probably be happy to see the back of me and my loud, opinionated antics  :rolleye:, but hopefully some people have found my posts helpful!

This has been by far the best and most friendly forum I've been a member of. My car has come on leaps and bounds in the last 12 months with the advice and knowledge that you guys have imparted on me. Some of the people who have helped my car come along the most thus far are (in no particular order) DaveB, R-Tech Nick, Darren (mortygttdi), vRSAlex and BlueFlame. I would not have had the pleasure of meeting any of you had it not been for this place. A sincere thank you to those I have met, and those I haven't.

So... this is farewell! Sort of!

^^^^
I've always enjoyed your posts and will miss you here.

Wishing you well. London is a great city with much to offer and I love the international buzz (lived and worked in Chelsea for over 25 years). You don't need a car within Central London.

You know that folks will always welcome you here  :happy2:

Thanks for all the well-wishes guys

It's gonna become a track toy one day. I've thrown a lot of money at this car I won't see back, so no point in selling it. My parents are gonna use it as a run around in the mean time.

Gonna be at King's College London, Guy's Campus. I don't technically know where I'm living yet. I'm just staying win a friend for the time being until I find my feet.

Ahhh southwark right by the shard.

Depending on where you actually live in that surronding area and the type of accomodation, you might actually have somewhere to put a car as its not that bad in that area, if moving slightly outwards ie peckham, deptford.

All the best anyhow, you'll love it, loads of nightlife.
