Does a hybrid turbo (diesel) require the upgrade of injectors or any other parts. Would it run without a remap or is that a must.
Any other considerations?

Running a TD stage 2 unit on my PD140 wihtout any issues. Cant comment on the PD170's though.

I have the 140 also, did you do any other mods, any lag?

I have a stage 2 hybrid on mine on standard injectors with a mild map on which you could have on but am going to up grade the clutch to get the most out of thee turbo

The clutch will start to struggle, other than that from what I've read you should be OK. Maybe time to look at an S3 I/C upgrade if you wanted.

Edited to add: Dont forget about stopping the car as in brakes. ;)

Another thing, I had the car remapped when I put my foot down i was throwing out some sut from the back end, would a hybrid cure that or is it down to the map itself? (Shark stage 1).

All depends on the map but you always get a aIt of smoke
