They are not finished to perfection, but would do the job...  :happy2: The red paint has been known not to be straight...

They can be got from VW for about 50 quid as far as i'm aware ! They have a far better finsh to them  :happy2:

Always wanted one of these but the cheapness (ebay version) puts me off too

Yes, there cheap but at that price doesn't matter, it's disposable. Have a red one, silver one, silver and red one and gave away (for free) the black one to someone on here as you could hardly tell it was on the car. Still can't decide which one I prefer. All from eBay. PITA to get the original one off though IMO, might just be me.

RED ONE

How does the old one come off, it seems as if there is 3 clips holding it in place...

i heard someone on here saying something like heat the original one of with hair dryer then doing the same with the red ones and putting the red ones back on the grill.
if you could get something good to stick the red ones back on then it would be a shout
maybe get some double sided tape from 3m.

seems a lot easier than messing around with the moutings

Trying to remember but yes, some clips that after worked free (very stiff and felt brittle) the badge just pops out through the front. The ones from eBay then just slot in and, after cutting down the bolts a little, you just tighten up the bolts and your done.

Thats the only one i havent changed yet, how far have you got on?

I would be one for taking the door card of to see what i'm clearly doing, rather than hold the door card out a short distance with my hand squeezed up in there!  :signLOL:

Yeah, door card off but never having taken it off am a wee bit aprehensive. Undone all the screws (inc the 2 inside the handle) pulled but nothing, think I just need to man up and pull bloody hard!   :ashamed:

Have you got the plastic tools for removing interior trim, just go round each plastic screw removing one at a time... No need to pull so hard  :rolleye:  hehehe :signLOL:
