I have a problem i wondering if anyone could help me.
Ive got an annoying rattling noise from dash/ engine bay, only when idling and under 1K revs, as soon as it goes above 1K revs it goes away.
Anyone had similar issues/ or no of this problem?
Thanks

Firstly, A Warm Welcome to the forum! :happy2:
It's a question which has been asked here many times and the most likely answer is that:
- You have a 2.0T FSI engined car. (you don't say, and as much info as possible helps us to help you)
- It's normal on that engine. Try lifting the bonnet and standing by the engine bay - You'll hear it more strongly and it's part of the mechanicals (I forget which but someone else will doubtless post the answer).

It a 2.0TFSI. 56 plate. And done about 43k miles. That's all the info I know about it.

Sounds like you are describing the injectors.
I bet it sounds something like this?

Yeah I see what you mean. Someone said it could be the fuel lines rattling together.
Could this be right?

Sometimes changing the plugs helps reduce idling noise... What a difference a new set of plugs make... :happy2:
