just bought my drl kit and been looking around for an auto electrician in aberdeen,,,, man theres only 1 company and because of that they can charge whatever they want of which they do so not keen to go to them for a quote.
1 auto electrician within 40 miles pffff,,,,
thought i would try my local vw dealer but they said it would have to be a genuine part, i am still waiting for delivery of the drl's but pretty sure its not made by vw,,,,,,, if it turned out to be then they would charge 2 hours labour at £100 an hour,,,, £200
does anyone know of anyone up this neck of the woods that could do this job ?
have read the listing on fitment on this forum ( all 18 pages of it ) and i do not fancy tackling this myself,,,,
aberdeen is a lovely place to live ( well the shire is anyway ) but it sucks up here for services of all kind

For most things OEM+ or VW golfman in Dundee is worth contacting. He knows his way aroung the Mk5 and the electricals of it. :happy2:

There is an auto electrician in Inverurie called Graham tough he seemed decent enough when I called him a few years ago when I had a problem with a BMW not starting.
I'm sure CMB autos in pitmedden would be willing to fit them for you
