LOL!
Sorry about your car mate hope it don't cost too much ££
-
You WERE lucky there. Those Badgers are hard as nails and built like Sherman Tanks!!
Fog grill from eBay......
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Fog-lights-bumper-grilles-grills-set-for-VW-GOLF-MK5-GTI-2003-2009-/280959876438?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item416a837d56
Probably cheaper from the dealer though.
As for the bumper and splitter, take your car to a couple of body shops and see if it can be saved and get some quotes. Good luck with it and hope it doesn't cost!
:happy2:

Thanks for the replies guys. Just looking at how the foglight mounts, it looks bust. Any body know how they are mounted?

....Pretty straightforward - Bolt through brackets which are part of the foglight unit:
(https://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fdaz.co%2Fmedia%2Fb308%2FRedRobin_05%2FFogs_oemHella.jpg&hash=0221946eead2658c21ef1eb3308e8e37e885995b)
^ You can see one of the brackets over the word "Mailing Box".
Electrics is plug-n-play IIRC.

Thanks for the reply. If you look at the damage it looks like the bit that the foglight mounts onto is damaged, and my guess us that its part of the bumper :sad1:

....Then I would pop her round to your local trusted bodyshop/repair centre and ask what can be done.
I don't know if this pic gives you any helpful information but it's the only one I've got of that area:
(https://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fdaz.co%2Fmedia%2Fb308%2FRedRobin_05%2FDRL_Hella_explore.jpg&hash=59b233c1b02cdc22f13c7b9ea3043b5171a60e09)
Someone else will probably have more info but you can see the bracket mounted in my pic.

Thanks for the pic, just had a quote for £890 :surprised: for new bumper grille and foglight. or £390 to patch it up with a new grille and light. Not sure what to do!

....Ouch!! Pity you don't live in my neck of the woods - I'd introduce you to my highly accredited accident repair centre which is affiliated to my VW dealer and who would cost for doing the minimum but effective repair.
I would have thought that a piece to accept the foglight bracket could be easily welded in but of course I can't see the damage that your repair shop can.

At those prices you would be better off replacing the bumper. What colour is your car; it looks silver in the photo (as opposed to grey). If you are lucky it is the same colour as the one in the for sale section. The GT sport and GTI bumpers are the same in case you were not aware - just different grills :happy2:

your one step ahead mate

.
I reckon we'll see an increase in Badger 'roadkills' as some farmers get desperate, kill Badgers, and dump them on the road in the middle of the night. It's been done before and probably will be done again.

I was once (many moons ago when I was young and daft) doing about 70+ mph one night when a sheep leapt out infront of my Mk6 RS2000, absolute carnage I tell you.
True story - the car stunk of lamb chops when it got warm for months and the sheep gave birth on impact, I also had to cut it's ear off to take to the police station to try and id the tag to find out who's it was

Update,
Ive managed to have a good look at it this weekend, I put it all back together to see what the damaged actually is
