Title: buffing and polishing

seen a few pics of people using a small buff machine to polish their car,,,, I guess this is a lot better than elbow grease,,,, anyone any ideas on a cheap effective system / pads etc, and can it cause any paint damage if you over buff etc

you can get da's or rotary's, for a novice get a da, with a rotary it is very easy to build up alot of heat and burn through the clearcoat/paint if you don't know what you are doing
