Was driving down the motorway tonight, pulled out to overtake and realised I was bearing down on some dick who'd pulled into the central reservation! He was standing at the crash barrier using his mobile - I presume he'd broken down. About a quarter of his car was sitting in the fast lane! Luckily I hadn't made the overtake manoeuvre so was able to pull in.

Unreal.

Did you check the news for any major pile-ups?

It really makes me cringe when I see how stupid some people are on the motorway.  :scared:

It only takes one manic to get the ball rolling and the rest follow suit. I worked on the M25 widening for a bit, and the amount of people we had pulling into the road works was almost a daily occurrence. Mentalists!

Fortunately I've heard nothing so he and others were lucky. It was quite late at night so traffic density was low.
