Title: Help...
Post by: ReeceH13 on November 13, 2012, 03:40:50 pm
Hi all,

took my car to Volkswagen on Saturday, had the low pressure fuel sensor replaced and when I got home I checked my oil and to my discust found that they had broke the oil cap, and more importantly the air filter hadn't been placed back on, the tube leading to the engine cover.

Would it have done much damage driving around with this detached? Done about 20 miles I reckon

I would replace / get VW to replace the oil cap if you can prove it was them. The air filter shouldnt have caused any problems over such short distance   :happy2:

cant help with your question mate but this highlights exactly why i wont let the stealers touch my car - as good as their service plan prices are, I still dont trust them.
