Hey,
I'll be lowering the car soon and ive narrowed it down to these two kits,
http://www.gnjmotorsport.com/products/AP-30mm-Lowering-Suspension-Kit-Golf-5-GT-1.4T-Si%2C-GTi-2.0T-FSi%2C-GT-2.0TDi-%2812%7B47%7D04%252d%29.html

Has anybody got either of these fitted?
Or has anybody been in a car with either??
Any thoughts or opinions appreciated!

Anyone?

I have the AP kit and so far they are brilliant not crashy , basically the same as stock suspension but lower , give a good stance and dont have to adjust them all the time like coilovers.
-
Got the exact same kit coming as the AP, but for £220 from ebay.de
Not expecting miracles but want to raise the height from the 40mm it's at, plus both rear shockers shot, one especially. So can only be an improvement for me!

Depends on the ride/ look your going for. I went the route of coilovers as it gives you a lot more leaway. You can raise it up and drive it stock with the uprated suspention. Or take it as low as you want

Just thought i/d give you alittle inside info - KW,Weitec & AP are all owned by the same company! The inserts are the same - other than the rebound adjustable ones which are Koni's - AFAIK

Thanks for the help guys!
What im looking for is a lower stance and maybe improved handling, but most important for me is the ride comfort,
Im from rural ireland and our back roads are very uneven in places.
I wont be tracking it and bearing in mind the road conditions, think ill pass on coilovers but thanks anyway.
Think I will give the AP kit a chance and sure if im not happy, ill sell it and upgrade i guess!!
Has anyone any pics of the gti lowered on the AP kit??
Thanks again,
Padraic
