Does switching the fog and reverse pose much of an issue?

At £200 get the ed30 rears, those led ones look awful IMO.

They are similar style to the Golf R.
The standard MK5 clusters are really showing their age now.

Don't forget if you do buy them you will need to run extra cables into the hatch for the side light and the indicators, not that hard a job depending on skill level

no mate the outer bits are, but the golf 5 doesn't have side lights or indicators on the inner sections so they need extra wiring

Ah faff, thanks for that... just fancy something a bit different from all the round cluster setups.
