Got a bulb out,is it just a case of pulling the cover down & removing the bulb to replace ? or is there any special way ?.Thanks in advance.

Still haven't got this fixed. How do you get the lamp holder out of the under dash trim please ?.I've tried to prise it with a flat blade screw driver but it still won't come out of the trim.

I think there is a cut out in the plastic lens, you have to depress a tang. I ended up taking the panel down, it is about 4 Torx screws IIRC. Torx t20 should do the trick. Then get it on the bench and do the swap.
Hope that helps.

mine simply clips in, have the red blubs instead. Never saw any screws.
However, when doing it, make sure its one of the first things you do, i had my door open for about 10 mins before doing it, and the bulb and unit was red hot by the time I took it out.

Well got mine out the other day & to my suprise there was no wire/block connecter on the end of the light unit !!!!!!!!!.No wonder it won't work.I removed the cover so could have a good look around under the dash & there is no spare wire with a connecter going spare, got me stumped ????.

Mine was same, but wire was tucked behind the edge of the carpet plugged in all works fine, but does so off the electronic guts behind the accelerator pedal. lol
