Cut a long story short the garage who installed my B12 kit disconnected the battery on my eddy and now the engine map has been wiped off... Car feels a lot slower :sad1:
Good thing (I hope) is the previous owner supplied me with the REVO SPS switch
Does the SPS switch allow me to re flash the ecu back to Revo stage1 settings or will I have to pay for another map

Easy.
http://www.revotechnik.com/sps/
full instructions are on the revo website. I cant find them right now but i know if you download the file on that link and install it at the top right of the programme it will say help or something along those lines. That will give you step by step instructions. :happy2:
Just note that the sps device must be setup for that specific car if the settings that are stored on it are for another car you could end up doing a great deal of damage.
hope this helps ;)

Just called the previous owner and he's confirmed the only settings on it are for my car. Has one performance mode and one stock mode. Just not sure which number performance mode will be. Maybe 2...? Is the best way to check this to download the Revo software from the disc he supplied with the SPS and that should run me through both stock and performance BFT?
Had a look online & from the video seems all I need to do Is,
1 turn on ignition
2 select mode
3 plug SPS into OBD port and wait for chiming the disconnect
4 turn on ignition and 70 lost horses will re appear?
Sound about right??
Thanks
