Our second was 3 days early, so you may not have too long to wait!

Good luck Dom and mrs Dom! I have got my first due on April 2nd! Can't wait! Are any of you using an isofix baby seat with a 3 door golf? I have got a 3 door ed 30 and before I go and get it mapped next week I want to know if I the wife will struggle getting the baby seat in and out? Don't really want to swap for a 5 door but I will if I need to! Cheers, Matt.

It is not easy with a 3 door. At first it seems ok but it does start to wear you down. You need a strong back. I watched my missus struggle for 8 months. In the end i gave in and decided to help with the bags.  :rolleye:
The problem is, taking a baby anywhere is like a military tactical move, you cant just take the baby every item you have bought in the last 2 year has to go as well.  :pomppomp:

agree, thats why i got the 5 dr! its ok having a 3 dr when your kids are old enough to get in and out unassisted but when they start weighing a couple of stone and then a heavy seat is not good with a 3 dr if you have hurt your back

....I blame Billy Connolly and his sketch about giving birth where the holiday video gets accidentally replaced by the birth video at a family get together.

Again, according to Billy, you may need buckets of hot water!

But seriously - You won't be able to feel serious because you'll be on Cloud Nine for days!

Remember, that if you she can get over any initial first discomfort..............

^ I'm being serious about breast feeding - It has all the natural anti-bodies and is also far less disruptive for both parents when the mother can simply offer a nipple to the young 'un instead of all the palava about artificial milk preparation. It helps bond mother and child too. Believe it or not, it's actually why women have titties - I bet you didn't know that!
