Title: Halogen to Xenon?

I am buying a 2008 Mk5 and the only thing it does not have that I wanted was Xenons. How much would it cost to get them changed? My friend reckons he changed his halogens to xenons on his civic for £30?!

If you can find some decent ones that is! They come up for sale time to time but not often!

The ep3 civic I had previous had projectors standard, so you could get an aftermarket hid kit fitted for £30 ebayed. Golf dont come with projectors as standardhence same kit will not do. Scatter and blinding on coming traffic

think i paid £490 posted for mine but they were mint, without a single scratch so if they are not A1 condition I would negotiate down from there
