Title: it pays to shop around

Last year my lass payed £490 for a years car inssurance on Mk4 gti 1.8 20v on a v reg.Her insurance is due next month so went on compare.com and got it for £220 a year :happy2:

I thought ladies insurance has gone up recently, not down. :grin:

My was 2100 last year  and got a email through from my insurer saying it has dropped to 1300 but did abit of shopping and got it down to 960. Which isnt bad for being 21 :grin:

Definitely does pay to shop around if you are willing. I no some people who just pay the amount when it comes through  :stupid:

Certainly does!

My renewal was 1200 which went down to 1000 after haggling for business! Then went on the meerkat site and paid 730 with a better specced policy!  :happy2: so now I'm off to turkey for some June sun  :signLOL:
