Title: 'Golf' monster mats....?
Post by: lancGTI on November 26, 2008, 11:17:15 pm
I'm looking for a set of monster mats for my GTI.  Since I have the GT grille conversion [and am ordering the GT grille emblem & steering wheel insert soon], I'm wondering if there are any across the pond that have the US Jetta style of rubber slatting but have 'GOLF' lettering instead of 'JETTA' of the honeycomb style 'GTI'.

Something similar to that.  I apologize if these are easily found, I'm still a newb at trying to find euro parts beside the US sites that offer them.  Thanks much guys & gals! :innocent: I'm not sure if I should go for the standard 'GT' in the grille or the 'GT Sport'; thoughts?

Haha yes, mine's LHD and has the US crap on it.  182_blue, I believe those monster mats are for the MKIV chassis cars.

This guy on US Ebay is pretty decent.

And for those of us on this side of the pond, he doesn't really have a problem sending stuff over here either.  :happy2:

The honeycomb GTI mats are not what I'm looking for.  All the 'GOLF' monster mats listed on that site are for the 04-05 MKIV chassis cars.

He doesn't have them either.  Looks like I'm chasing a pipe dream. :ashamed:
