From the other thread (dario's) does anyone know the proper vw part numbers for these passat parts

Ive been looking into finding these parts with my local dealer and its not easy as there is numerous different versions of the light  switch listed . From what we could make out the total cost was going to be over 300 euro .

good find, shame the arse has fallen out of the Euro though, would be alot cheaper, do all these fit ok, and i don't fancy explaining the fog light bit to a foreigner lol

From my quick translation he wants you to supply him with your chassis no . which i can only assume is to check for 3/5 door and foglight variations .

ahh, i see, in that case looks good, i cant remember from memory so would the door cards need to come of for the switches, and do  the small switches for the windows have silver bits on ?

I cant remember either on the door cards but as im changing mine shortly it doesn't bother me . Yes the small switches have the silver pieces .

the elec window unit and mirror adj would be doddle to do i think, if you get a price post it up as i may purchase them.

the headlight switch is a doddle too. they are about 50quid iirc
