Title: amazon @folix rns510 screen protectors -anybody fitted theirs?

got round to fitting this yesterday to a rcd510, it was about 1mm too long and i had to cut it to length (not easy when its mainly stuck on).
is the rns510 screen any longer than rcd510?
anybody else fitted theirs yet?

Funny you should bring this topic up because I got a clarivue one for the rns510 and it was too big. Ordered one for the rcd510 and it was sized correctly. Both screens are supposed to be the same size.

I bought an atFoliX screen protector for my AVH-8400BT - also too big so I ended up cutting it down, and it looks pretty shabby.  I'd advise against buying their products.

I fitted mine on Saturday, it anything it was ever so slightly too small, quite fidgety as well, really a woman's job to fit (so it was), it doesn't look too bad i guess now, the odd air bubble, etc, but protects the screen as it is supposed to!!  :ashamed:

i don't know if they they are the same size or not. 1 person seems to think they are, but the only way out for them is to say they are advertised for rns510, and as i'm fitting it to something else , then thats my fault its 1mm too long...

Oh something i found too is that they fit better if you actually put the ends into the corners also, ie. actually try to put the screen-guard under the rim, as i found there is room for it to slot under a bit so-to-speak!

ah did'nt try to slide it under, that might have helped. On the width it was a perfect fit.
as i expected they have answered my email saying its my mistake as i did'nt fit it to a rns 510.
they are going to send me a replacement for 1 that had a cut going straight through packaging into top 1.

germans...what can you do...oh yer drive their excellent cars  :laugh:

Ive just bought and fitted a "savvies" screen protector to my rcd510 and its perfect :happy2:
