Ok so after a rethink on the wheel front (not 100% sure on the 0.06's now I've already seen them on another jetta)
I've been offer a set of unusual OEM rims (vag) that I've never seen fitted to anything before.
the specs are: 8.5x18 et 42 on the front & 10.5x18 et 55 on the rear?
Am I mad? Probably - but will they fit??
-
No unless you pull your arches alot
-
You will need arch work on the rear with the 10.5, also would depend on how much tyre stretch you are willing to run. With those fitments I'm assuming they are 5x112 also otherwise don't forget your adaptors when sizing up
-
They are 5x112 - would be running 225/40's all round. May run a bit of camber to tuck them, but would sacrifice a little of my lows to run them.
-
You'd most likely need spacers for the wheel to clear the rear damper at 10.5"
-
They are Audi R8 Spyder winter rims - 6 spokes. £440 for the rims
-
This will look epic Andy if you can pull it off  And probably a first too :drinking:

Wow! Never seen them wheels before! They look smart, will certainly suit a jetta! Ive seen 11.5j on an s3 if that relevant. Does anyone know how wide you can go on the front? 9.5s possibe?
-
I have seen 3sdm 0.01's in 9.5x18 all round on a mk5 tdi.

Thats why i was asking, want either 0.06 or 0.05 and the 9.5 concave is so good on both sets
-
I've got a set of the 0.06's on order already - seen them on a jetta at UD and wasn't convinced.

Is your car a daily? Have you considered the ride quality?
-
I've seen 10.5 all the way round, it's a friend of mine in america's mk5 golf. Looks good!

Yes it's a daily driver. And I'm in mid-Scotland. So roads are a bit bumpy & twisty anyway. Just thought they would look mad on the jetta!!
