Title: Dashboard issue!!

Got into my car today and the dis just disappeared so I can't see the time and how many miles I have done (low line clocks) everything else works any Ideas?

This happened to mine after along journey and it happened on a very hot day.
It has been ok since without a problem.

I've had this too... no explanation, I pulled over, switched off and back on, and it was fine, never to show up again (that was in the summer last year, so perhaps heat related somehow)... no fault codes either.

It starts off lit then just disappears to a bare visible state (fades out) doesn't come back after that I've tried stopping and restarting the car but stays barely visible.

Sounds like the LCD backlight has died. Can't be replaced. Well, not easily.

Strange seems to have fixed it self   :confused:
