Evening all,
Going to look at an ed30 for a mate this evening, going armed with Vag com to do a code read.
The current owner is quoting that he has the forge dv spacer on it for the loudest tissss possible.
I'm not running one on mine as not my style and its made to be a recirc system, he says he has had it for 000's of miles no problems...
I'm sure everyone who has hd them has reported either 1. power loss (nt sure how much) 2. running issues.
Would there be any long term damage (bar potential to the diverter valve) that we should be worried about?

The worst you're see is minimal performance loss and higher mpg...
i "think" i saw slightly less boost when i tried one..
if your after more performance dont run one... if your happy to lose minimal amount then keep it..

I had one on mine for about 100 miles took it off again didn't suit the car really and it didn't feels as snappy with it on

Thanks guys, just really more worried about any long term damage this car could have from running with one for 000's of miles.
