Title: GTI MK5 Quattro/R32?
Post by: GTIite on March 30, 2013, 09:44:32 pm
Hi all, has anyone seen or heard of anyone converting a GTI to run 4 wheel drive like an S3 or R32??

Cheers!

yes,

I seem to remember one on here mentioning it.
Best way to do it would be to buy a 2,0 TDI mk 5 with 4wd, i know you have them in the UK. They are ultra rare here in Denmark.
And then drop a 2,0 TFSI in it, easiest solution by far.

Isn't then Audi 2.0T Quattro just like an AWD GTi??
They're both K03 aren't they?

Sounds like a good idea if you were starting out with this idea, but I already have a MK5 GTI. So buying another car and stripping a perfectly good GTI would cost me a fortune in the long run I think!
