I had my manual 08 Edition 30 remapped to Revo Stage 1 a couple of months back. Been absolutely loving it, even if our so-called spring has made it almost undrivable since then.
However...this weekend, I noticed what I *think* is the clutch slipping. Under acceleration in high gears, there's seems to be an interruption in pull and it feels like the car is almost "slurring". Initially, I put it down to wheelspin, or something not quite right with the map. It happened several times, usually in 5th or 6th when using the torque to pass something, and it reminded me of driving a dodgy automatic.
Does this sound like clutch slip to you guys? Is it likely to go any time soon - it's just started happening. Am I damaging any other components by not getting it changed straight away? And lastly, would I be better off going for an uprated clutch, and which would people recommend? The car's standard apart from the Revo, and I don't intend to take it any further.

Sounds like your clutch. Lots of discussion as to whether change for a brand new OEM clutch or go for an uprated one. I'd go for an uprated clutch.
Put your car back in stock mode and you should be fine for now.

Thanks! Finally a use for that SPS switch. Any recommendations for which clutch? Sachs the way to go?

Have this problem on my revo stage 2 mk6 exactly as you have described, further to AKS advice I am going to have a Helix Organic clutch fitted.

As above, go with an organic clutch, either Helix or Sachs. I had a quote from JKM Performance for a Sachs organic clutch with new DMF for £1200 inc fitting.
