Title: Who was it on here that did brake caliper refurbs?

I remember reading a post a while back of someone recommend by dave b for brake caliper refurbs.
This particular person also offered a hardened coating, and worked on an exchange basis,  iirc.

I cant find it by search,  does anyone know who this was or got a link to the thread?

Don't powdercoat..... Unless you want them to crack.

What causes them to crack? Heat?
I thought powder coat was tougher / more resistant?

Spoke to hike today and he's currently not very well so I would give him a couple of days and then call him.

Got my Porsche (Brembo) calipers done by Jonny. Pretty sure they were painted. They look lush :happy2:

Jonny @ BCR just refurbed and painted mine Lambo Orange for me and supplied me with new pads and fitting kit...  :grin:
