Title: Another with a new DV fitted
Post by: Gladiator on April 10, 2013, 04:41:40 pm
Finally got round to changing my DV today, very easy job even with my limited skills on the ED30!

Had a Revision C and had no sign of tears but replaced for newer Revison G, took her for a quick spin and I'm sure it has made a difference even with the original one being intact......maybe the placebo effect?

Any way, glad I changed it

^^^^  :congrats:

Had mine changed last year some time with the PCV and various other bits, even though the mechanic said all my old parts were still in perfect condition I KNOW the car felt different/better (probably the placebo as you say).

 :happy2:

I don't think the G seals any better than the C. It's just a bit more robust, I think!.

Anyone have any conclusive proof that it seals better than the C?

Had mine chaned yesterday at R-tech to a G. Mine was on a C with no tears but it would of gone soon or later. Just for the piece i mind. Fitting a G made me about 58bhp but im pretty sure that was the map
