Well for the last 6 months now I have noticed that gradually my air intake pipe that connects to the duct at the front and the engine cover at the back keeps on coming off! I thought this was because of my engine cover, but since replacing that, even driving 10 miles and popping open the bonnet means that the pipe comes off. Could it be a dodgy clip, or am I just not putting it far enough on to the engine cover?
Any tips much appreciated.

Are you talking about the mounts which the engine cover mounts on to or the actual engine mounts - which brings me to the next question, where are they?

Slight hijack here - is there any reason why you can't fit a piece of nice smooth silicone tube in place of the corrugated pipe?
Slightly smoother flow, prob stay in place better and looks nicer .....

Good idea that man! I loved the jubilee clips that came with my Forge TwinTake Intake - those were good times!
So what size Jubilee clip are we talking?
