Title: Golf R Sold !!!!!!!!!

I advertised my R on the R forum at 16.48  and it had a buyer by 17.08  sold for the  full asking price, this has to be a Record 20 minutes  the car has been collected and paid for by a lovely couple . I hope they get more use out of it than I did ,

I cant decide what to buy next a new Gaymen  or wait for the new BMW 4 coupe ,

I didn't do to bad on the R is only lost £3600 in 7 months and by my thinking if I had run my Merc C class estate till now it would have lost another 2500 to 3000  so it wasn't a painful decision to sell the R

Great result on selling the R!  :congrats:

Get a Gayman fella, the new one is a beautiful loooking car IMO, much better than its predecessor.

join a car club where you can drive different exotic cars when you get the desire

No I spent many hours cleaning it  and tbh I was concerned about if it would be spot on . It was looking really nice today until a bloody seagull  sh*t all over it  I mean massively  ,

Certainly is hard to part with, even with alot of people would think a worthy successor including myself  :smiley:

I think it will be the new 4 series tbh , We have a 325d BMWE92  in space grey with all the extras and to be fair it does everything loads of torque and two off my neighbours commented today about how nice it looks  ,The only thing that lets it down it the run flat tyres .

so seriously tempted to buy a set off new rims  and fit Pilot sport 3s or a non run flat decent brand but struggle to find any 255/30/19s  and 225/35/19s at sensible money
