Im in a predicament.
Im considering selling the GTI and buying a Honda S2000, I used to own one for 3 years a while ago and I saw one yesterday and it really made me want one again!
I miss the rawness about it, the fact that when you turn the key and press the start button you feel the vibration of the engine through the cabin, dont get me wrong I love my GTI but I cant help but feel its a little too well refined...Its a practical, safe, stylish car that has also been made fast, a great all rounder. But it just doesn't give be the sense of occasion when driving it that the Honda did.. and I secretly miss having a manual with RWD
So I dont know what to do...I can only really afford to do a straight swap but the 04 cars, when they were facelifted at starting at 6900/7000 and im not sure I can get that for my golf can I? Or can I?
Its got high mileage 99,700. Full VW history, 2 owners, Black 3 door, DSG, 2006 (06), Leather, Xenons, Parking sensors, privacy glass...
What sort of money do you guys think I would be looking at getting for that?

£6200

Yeah...thats what I was thinking.
Do you think the value would drop significantly once it goes over the 100,000 mile mark?
If not then I will just hold out until I either get bored of the idea haha or find a grand to put towards something new

try this link for a valuation
doesnt cost anything, just put in reg and mileage and it gives a value

Depending on where you and the condition of the car (assuming it's mechanically sound, bodywork is good, and no scuffs, dents scratches etc) are I'd give you cash tomorrow, no fussing or bantering, just cold hard reddies in yer hand.
You want to sell it, I want to buy it :happy2:
Plus you will get to see it as it would be my next project car
Edit: Sent you a PM

Just put my car in there and got a valuation of £11200 private for my 20k mile 2007 ED30 . So pretty realistic . Make it £13k and i'd sell :rolleye:
