Title: chances of getting a new exhaust and cat warrantee

whilst under the gti today i noticed the silencers and cat where really rusty, like dark brown flakey thick rust, wont be long untill there buggered. 6 months warrantee left, is it worth trying to get a new system?

Nothing ventured .........  I wouldn't count on it though.

I'm about to go into battle with Audi as my brake disk hubs have gone very rusty, more so than any of the older cars that were in the dealership when I went in there with mine.

You might have a chance if you hsout loud enough.  I woul use it as en excuse to get yourself a Milltek, and I know where you can get a nice discount on one........Lifetime warranty, and approx 15-20BHP - NICE :drool:

Actually if you look at the warranty on the Milltek cat it's only two years though the catback has a lifetime warranty.

Ignore the two years.  Miltek would honour a manufacturing warranty claim

Yeah, c'mon, 'cause I've got TWO Milltek systems to purchase, and one of them is for a V8!  :happy2:
