Hi Guys
My car is going in on Monday for a service at VW and going to ask them about repairing the surface rust appearing on the front wings. It looks like the previous owner tried touching it up a bit.
Do I have a leg to stand on asking it to be repaired under warrenty?
Thank for the help.

It all depends on the assessor, nobody here will be able to give you the answer you need.
Just see how it goes!

Mine is being done in a few weeks.
Spoke to the guy and he measured the paint thickness, if its their paint job then they should do it! The touch up is only trying to rectify the rust thats already there!
On a side note, dont go in all guns blazing holding print outs from the website :signLOL:
When I spoke to the guy he said people come in yelling and screaming that it should be a warranty job and they want to speak to the manager to get it done etc, when in fact they will happily to it if you just give them a chance to look lol

I was going to talk to the guys as nice as possible and hopefully get it done.
Thanks

Normally you should get it done no probs, but the fact that it's been touched up might mean they say no.
