Title: DV, what a difference!
Post by: cjchapman on June 14, 2013, 07:08:30 pm
Hi all,

Im sure youve heard alot about diverter valves, but i finally got round to changing mine the other day, and what a difference its made! its put a new lease of life into my car, feels like i have a different car now. I used to hear a slight whistling noise when i accelerated from 2000rpm but now thats gone and been replaced with alot more acceleration  :jumpmove:. i always thought it was just the normal turbo noise but id heard it could be the DV so changed it to a revision G. When i took the old one off it had a B at the end so i reckon that was still the original. Wish id changed it sooner. Even getting better MPG now! Just thought id let everyone know.
Even if you have a slight thought that it could need changing its well worth changing. its both easy and cheap to change and suffers from alot of wear and tear so you may as well. Without this forum i never would have even changed it!

Cheers guys

Surely you could find this on the forum? There's a how-to guide / know-how  :surprised:
