So... Do I;
1) Lower it
2)RNS 510 it
3)Catback zorst it (poss R32 rear end too)
3)Stage 1 it
Don't say all
-
Stage 1 will give you more driving pleasure but may have an insurance premium attached.
RNS510 will make it easier to use GPS instead of a separate unit.
-
Double post?
-
Without a shadow of doubt, a decent stage 1 map. It just brings the GTI alive, much more torque, which makes it a really great drive.
-
all of them and some more :
-
Map and RNS will be the two mods that will make your driving experience better.
-
Stage 1 all day long. Best few hundred quid I've ever spent (outside of Amsterdam!)

that's an average of nearly 10 a day
-
I'm surprised there are so many rns510 votes.
Expensive bit of kit that isn't all that compared to other solutions IMO.
Another vote for remap.
After remap, downpipe and stage 2 update.

as i mentioned in the other thread, i think RNS will have a greater effect on your day-to-day enjoyability in terms of the added functionality. once you start to get a little comfortable (read: bored) with the car, then i think a remap should quickly be on the agenda.
also, as an OE solution i think RNS510 is absolutely cracking. wish Audis had something similar instead of the RNS-E tat
-
But it's just a sat nav lol?
The rnse is utter wank. I bought a kenwood double din unit but gonna sell that on and do a iPad mini install instead
-
Average costs:
1) Lower it (from £150 to £600)
2)RNS 510 it (circa £400)
3)Catback zorst it (poss R32 rear end too) (£450 exhaust, £400 R32 painted)
4)Stage 1 it (circa £300)
Map gets my vote. Next on my list.

Yeah I think the Map has won :pomppomp:

All ive done on my car is add an RNS-510 unit. I think its an awesome unit to have.
Next on my list is a remap.
Hope that helps
