Title: removing old tyre shine products

hi guys do any of you have any tips or help for removing old tyre shine products as i think i have a good build up on my tyres now and when i apply tyre shine it just doesnt seem to shine apply as good as it should.

would a good apc do the job or is there something more specific i can use

Just spray with a good all purpose cleaner and agitate with a brush. You will see the suds go dark brown when the dressing is lifting away.

As Nath has said. Good APC (I use Bilt Hamber Surfex HD diluted 10:1).  Spray on. Leave a couple of secs and then scrub with a stiff brush.

Strong mix of VP bilberry and a brush will do it

Cheers for all the replys fellas the apc method did the trick and now she looks loads better with tyre shine on now  :happy2:
