Title: Stage 2+ Clutch Upgrade

Hi all

Been doing some research into going stage 2+ when the ED30 arrives was talking to a respectable tuning company and according to them cause the I will is a DSG version I won't have to buy a upgrade clutch or flywheel? Is this right?

yup dsg will take the power fine.

look at dsg maps though just for usability of all that extra power

Know this question has properly been ask before but was a bit confused by it but this afternoon phoned my local VW Tuning company and they said i would need to swap?

Swap what, your clutch?  Who's your tuner??  :confused:

As mentioned, it will be fine. You'll just need to get a DSG map.

you dont have to get a DSG map, its just recommended.

Slightly off topic, but didnt want to make a whole new thread for a small question, but what would i have to do to make my 1.9tdi safe and reliable with an increase of 50bhp? angel tuning offer from 105 to 155, but i dont imagine its very good for the engine? What supporting mods would be necessary?
