Just wondered what other folk were interested in apart from their cars.
My other big money pit is mountain biking, I really enjoy technical stuff, downhill and speed.
Anyway here's some pics of my current setup, rebuilt from the frame up.

Went to the Fort William Downhill World Cup the other month and bumped into Rachel Atherton and Hannah Barnes, probably my two favourite athlete's at the moment, massively helped by the fact that they are both gorgeous.

Everton are my 1st love - Normally a season ticket holder, had one for 10 seasons on the bounce but not had one last couple of years due to the birth of my son but hoping to get back again more this season.
Fell walking - living in Cumbria very lucky to have this on my doorstep, doing a 24 mile round tomorrow over Carrock, Blencathra, Skiddaw, Calva, high Pike etc
Music, I have a very varied taste ranging from Modern bands to old skool rave and house through to 80's hip hop and rock.
Just about to buy a mountain bike so hoping I'll enjoy that too.

1. Golf - Joined new course last year (after re-locating from Norfolk to Cornwall) with a 17 handicap (Was a 12 handicap at old course which was much more open and a LOT easier than new course!), love my golf and try to play 2-3 times per week. Use a mixture of Clubs, Irons - Cobra S9, Wedges - Cleveland, Driver - Taylormade R1, Hybrid - Taylormade Burner, 3/5 Wood - Cobra, Putter - Taylormade Ghost Spider, only ever play with Srixon Z Star Yellow balls (I hit the driver a LONG way and struggle to follow a white ball in the air so went with the Srixon High Vis yellow and stuck with them!, my longest recorded drive in a golf comp was 367yds, I usually average 285-325), I am definitely a "Boomer" and not a "Control" player :grin: :grin:
2. Snowboarding - Several boards, but mainly use my 165cm K2 Recon Riser S Class with Burton P1 bindings and Volcom Boots, try to go twice per year (Usually Jan and March)
3. Scuba Diving (Warm Water only), logged over 125 dives so far, If I still lived in Asia I would be going diving most weekends :happy2:
That's pretty much what I spend my spare time doing :happy2:
I also play Poker once per week on a Friday night with my golfing mates while my Girlfriend is working and always Watch Man United when I can (usually get to go to 2 or 3 games per season) :happy2:

I still have my skateboard but its been ages since I rode.
Just bought a road bike,did the coast to coast last month,fell off with tons of road rash.. Not gonna be a passion.. :laugh:

Music, Music and Music.
I have been playing guitar for nigh on 20 years and in bands for 18. Never really did anything serious with original music although had a couple of tracks used on Sky and Channel 4 programmes. Supported some bands of repute including Alabama 3, The Holloways, The Young Knives and The Hot Rats (Gaz and Danny from Supergrass).
I LOVE guitars and have spent a good few years chopping and changing my kit. I've had 6 Precision Basses, 2 LP Studios, 3 Standards and a Custom, 5 SGs, 4 Strats and 5 Teles. I've recently 'invested' in a Fender Custom Shop Closet Classic 1972 Reissue Telecaster, which is one of the nicest electric guitars I've played.
I run a semi-pro covers band for functions and weddings and music is so important I jacked my job in at the start of this year and begin a full time degree in Music Technology in September.
I also take a few photos with a Nikon D300S but I'm not much good really.

Scuba diving. Started off doing it on holiday abroad but found I was losing confidence and skills as I wasn't doing it regularly enough. So 2 years ago I took the plunge and kitted myuself up for diving in the UK so I could do it more often, I maintained my skills and confidence meaning that dives abroad were more enjoyable and laid back. Diving in the UK isn't that pleasant really. It's cold and the vis is poor but it's made me a more confident diver.
Cooking. I love creating things from scratch. If i can make it instead of opening a tin, I will. Also enjoy baking but don't have the tiome to do as much as I'd like.
Swimming. Again, time restraints mean I don't go that often anymore. As a young adult though I swam competitively and am a natural water baby.
Mountain biking. Not really been for a couple of years as I'm a fair weather biker and the last couple of summers have been rubbish.
And in typical girly fashion I enjoy holidays, hot tubs and shopping :grin:

Cooking - its my living and my passion. Am currently (and have been for years) writing a cook book for kids.
Flying - have been bashing around the skies of the south coast for 20 odd years, on and off (when time and money allows) from Shoreham.
Model making - from scratch wooden models of sailing warships and matchstick model making of various vehicles and architectural structures, such as the Eiffel Tower and London Bridge.
Cricket - playing for my local team (when work commitments allow) and watching England play. Hopefully going on the England tour (the wife too :notworthy:) of the West Indies in 2015.

Top speed is about 65mph
And with a few mods could handle like it was on rails!
Now that's gone I am starting to get into go-karting with a few friends. We go once a month and is a great crack. :driver:
Also I weight train 5 days a week and sometimes a bit of cardio, which don't help my lap times when go-karting.

Mma- I got into mixed martial arts only a year ago after boxing for 5years. Love it and had a good head start on stand up obv from boxing. Not far off getting my first fight, so apart from cars, and gym. That's my passion too :happy2:

My main and only real passion is surfing but due to a shoulder injury ive been unable to surf for a few months :sad1: :sad1: However since not being able to surf ive been bitten by the cycling and running bug in a rather large way and as soon as my shoulder is sorted im going to start participating in some Triathalons :party:
Also have a big passion for aviation photography :laugh:
