Hi, I've been offered a set of front VWR 6 pots calipers. Are the discs readily available for this setup? Any one know what they cost roughly?
Thanks
-
Anyone? I believe the discs to be 360mm. Is this set any better than the Porsche NQSBBK kit?
-
speak to daveb, when I was looking into them the vwr caliper is very narrow so getting discs for them was costly
but that was on an older kit :happy2:
-
Dave does a fully floating setup for these with ap discs. Loads better than the stock stuff that's supplied with them.
-
Never had any problem with the stock discs and that's driven on some mad roads in Europe think I must have done 40k on em now maybe more
-
Do they fit behind standard Pescera alloys on ED30's?
Thanks
-
^^ anyone running these behind standard wheels?

Not possible, the stock ET51 won't allow for use of calipers with pistons on the outside of the disc, except Tarox calipers with 10 pots

Not even with spacers?

You asked if they would fit with the stock wheels, stock isn't spacers. But yeah chuck 50mm spacers behind the stock wheels and you have room for the world behind the OEM wheels
I'm sorry but i find that question a bit contradicting, hence the rude answer :happy2:

No need really....simple question that was all.....
Back on topic the guy I am purchasing them off says he was running them with 10mm spacers? Anyone able to confirm they will fit with 10mm spacers before I part with my cash.

VWR brakes initially came with two bell sizes given the clearance issue
the later VWR kits have there own dedicated spacer in a range of sizes
maybe worth giving VWR a call

I've got the caprio based ones with built in 15mm spacer and fit behind my monza II easy also the chap I brought them off had them behind pescera.
So I guess depends if you have bells with spacers or buy some spacer if you got normal ones.
