Filter
Wow - that must be expensive oil then
-
From what i got told you need a special tool to do it as well, hence most garages wont do it and the ones that do, jack their prices up.
-
Parts alone are over a ton.

peace of mind? :signLOL:

As alex says.... the oil is expensive and you need a special tool to fill up the box. ( i think the OEM tool is best part of a 100 quid)
-
A guy local to me did it all for £100 :innocent:
The tool is basically a one-way pump it's made out to be more special than it actually is.
It's about 5-6 L of oil and obviously the filter.

Did you notice any difference after it was serviced ?

Seems like folk don't get the recommended new dsg oil filter O ring (N91084501) with their dsg service.

You were recommended to replace the oil filter sealing O-ring when changing the dsg filter. The O-ring was sold as a seperate item but Alex has now clarified that the filter now come with the O-ring included.
