You'll need to find out the pcd and offset of those rims.
-
235/35/19 are the tyre sizes mate.
You need to find out the specs of the wheels...
PCD = You need 5x112 on the mk5 Golf
Offset = This should be around ET42 to ET45 in my opinion
Wheel width = 7.5", 8", 8.5" I think they will prob be 8.5" if the tyres are 235.
:happy2:

my car (MK2 Leon Cupra R) came out of the factory with wheels fitted with 235/35/R19 tyres on them, SEAT added little plastic "wings" on the rear arches to make them slightly wider for the MOT rules
-
My mk5 has 19" wheels
8.5J et43 with 235/35 tyres
They fit fine, although I haven't tried with passengers yet.

Ok, I'll find the sizes and see what it is.

i think there the ones

Yep them's the one's :happy2:
ET 35 will probably cause some rubbing if you lowered
Maybe a 225 tyre might be better on those?

You're right! Dunno why I thought they were 235. Lol.

not thinking about lowering at the moment, but is on to do list. This means the wheels will fit on? how do i find what brand they are?
-
Ok if your not lowered then you'll be ok, you'll just have a bit of poke.
Regards brand, is there nothing else on the inside of the rim?

There's some random numbers on the inside of the rim.
I'll post a picture if it helps
Also when you said 'I'll just have a bit of poke' do you mean they'll stick out a bit or will they rub against the arches?

I rub with 215/35 on ET44 (sits 1mm further in away from the arch) so have fun with that lol
Unfortunately most people on this forum don't understand stretch or fitment or stance
19x8 et 35 will fit but I would recommend 215/35 tyres. Unfortunately it's either that or 235/35 or 40s which give a weird look and can (and probably will) cause clearance issues.
Putting wheels on a car without lowering it almost always makes it look a bit silly
You can fit quite a wide range of ETs on a Mk5..
Depends on width but you can fit a 9.5j et 30 on the rear quite happily. The fronts the most you can realistically fit is a 19x9 et41 (bentley).

I admit I don't have a clue about wheel fitments.
Mine don't rub though.
Haven't lowered yet though so that may change

Thanks guys, I'll try them on with 215/35 and see what happens. I didn't know about wheel fitment before but now I do abit. Hopefully get these by weekend
